A new version of NANO Antivirus 0.12.0.0 Beta is being prepared for release.
The new version will include the following major changes/additions:
- Expanded integration with the Windows Explorer context menu. Actions are now offered depending on the selected objects. Icons have been added for menu items.
- Added a context menu for the table on the "Objects" tab of the scan window, allowing actions on detected malware files and copying information to the clipboard.
- Changed the license management mechanism. Added the ability to install a license from a file.
In addition, a large number of less significant improvements, fixes, and refinements are planned. The new version is scheduled for release in September of this year.
A new version of NANO Antivirus (0.10.0.0 Beta) with a large number of changes has been released.

The following changes/fixes have been made:
- Significantly reduced memory consumption during antivirus suite operation and updates.
- Added a new NativeWindow palette for the Default skin.
- Changed table presentation in the interface, reducing memory consumption during scanning; table appearance now better matches the selected skin; fixed a number of table-related bugs.
- Logs are now sent using the new nanoreport utility, which provides more detailed information about the problem encountered; it also supports sending logs via a proxy, as well as alternative submission methods. Users who installed version 0.10.0.0 from the installer can launch nanoreport via a link in the Start menu; users who updated to version 0.10.0.0 can run nanoreport.exe from the antivirus installation directory.
- Improved PDF and JS script scanning, enabling NANO Antivirus to successfully detect the latest malware code modifications.
- Fixed a large number of minor bugs and issues.
In response to numerous user requests, we have developed a new NativeWindows palette.
By selecting this palette, you can use all the window appearance customization options provided by alternative themes in Windows OS when styling NANO Antivirus.
The palette will be available in the Default skin starting with version 0.10.0.0 Beta.
We have discovered a bug that occurs in some cases during an update and results in the visual interface failing to work after the antivirus is restarted.
For users who have encountered this problem, we recommend the following:
- Stop the NANO Antivirus service: "Start>All Programs>NANO Antivirus>Stop NANO Antivirus Service".
- Try to repair NANO Antivirus: "Start>All Programs>NANO Antivirus>Repair NANO Antivirus".
If the steps above do not help, please completely uninstall the current version, download version 0.8.0.10 from our website, and reinstall NANO Antivirus.
