NANO Security has become a member of the international non-profit organization Anti-Malware Testing Standards Organization (AMTSO). The organization's activities are aimed primarily at developing and implementing standards and new methodologies to improve the quality and objectivity of antivirus product testing.

AMTSO members include organizations that test security products, leading global antivirus software vendors, and representatives of the scientific community. AMTSO's leadership and Board of Directors include recognized experts in information security.

AMTSO membership will allow us to take a direct part in processes aimed at developing the industry of fighting malicious software. We believe it is extremely important to stay at the forefront of modern industry trends and promptly take them into account when shaping the further strategy for developing our product. This is a unique opportunity that will ultimately help make our NANO Antivirus even better.

Over three days, more than 50 papers were presented covering all aspects of preventing global threats — characteristics of new threats, modern detection technologies, research, countermeasures, and more. Within the conference, industry representatives exchanged experience and ideas, discussed problems and solutions, and arranged cooperation.

This decision was made so that small changes and improvements do not accumulate for several months until the next version is released, but instead reach end users as quickly as possible. In connection with this, separate news items announcing such minor updates (ones that contain no new functionality, only small refinements and routine fixes) will not be published. However, we will continue to announce new versions with a significant number of changes, including newly added features.
