NANO Antivirus Pro receives its fifth award from the VB100 test lab

We are proud to announce that we have received our fifth VB100 award!

Our product NANO Antivirus Pro received its first VB100 badge in 2016. We worked very hard to earn this honorary award. And today we celebrate already the fifth confirmation of the highest quality and reliability of our product from one of the world leaders in antivirus product testing.

The VB100 test lab (United Kingdom) is an authoritative independent laboratory that has been testing antivirus products since 1998. The VB100 award is a kind of “quality mark” recognized worldwide.

To successfully pass the tests, an antivirus product must show 100% detection of malware making up the laboratory's special test sample in various check modes. The sample is compiled from the most current “in the wild” threats — threats that are widely spread at the time of testing. In addition, the antivirus must not allow a single false positive on a set of “clean,” safe files. Only upon successfully passing these two tests does an antivirus product receive the VB100 badge.

As part of testing, the stability of antivirus products from different vendors and their impact on the system are also evaluated. In these tests NANO Antivirus Pro also performed at a high level, surpassing products from many vendors.
