NANO Antivirus

A technical preview update has been released (NANO Antivirus version 0.15).



The following changes/fixes have been made:

  • Fixed an error that caused infected files to be skipped when running a user-created scan task with the action for infected files set to "quarantine".
  • Fixed an error that caused false positives on M3U files.
  • The "Auto-detect proxy" setting (Settings\Network tab) now works correctly.
  • Fixed heuristic analyzer errors that caused false positives.
  • Fixed an error in the context menu that prevented scanning (or quarantining) some files.
  • Deeper integration with Windows Security Center has been implemented.
  • Fixed errors in scheduled custom tasks.
  • Password protection for antivirus settings access now works.
  • Links on the Information\Support tab now work.
  • Fixed an error that caused a significant increase in memory consumption by the nanosvc process when submitting large files to file hosting services.
  • Hovering over the NANO Antivirus icon in the notification area now displays an informational message.
  • Last update dates and virus database information are now displayed.
  • The update process has been sped up approximately twofold.
  • A check for conflicting software has been added to the installer.
  • A large number of minor fixes and improvements.
