Technical preview of long-awaited version 0.16 is available!

Dear friends!

We are pleased to present to our most curious and dedicated users the result of our team's hard work over the past several months — a technical preview of the long-awaited version 0.16, announced under number 0.15.

The new version is a significantly reworked and enhanced product. In particular, the program core has been almost completely rewritten, new functionality has been added, and existing capabilities have been optimized.

New in version 0.15

  • A full-featured web traffic scanner has been added. It helps prevent system infection while browsing the web and makes your internet activity safer.
  • The update mechanism has been significantly changed. Updates are now much faster while consuming fewer resources. Our specialists continue to work on further improvements.
  • The program installation and uninstallation procedure has been reworked. This will help avoid some errors that caused inconvenience for some of our users.
  • Scanning of certain file types has been optimized (for example, autorun.inf files and archive files).
  • The file protection system has been improved, reducing resource consumption during background operation.
  • Memory consumption by the visual part of the program has been optimized.
  • Overall product performance and stability have been optimized and improved.

To update your current version to version 0.15, specify the path ftp://updates-new.nanoav.ru/ in the update settings under "Update paths", or completely remove the current version and install version 0.15 from scratch. Please note that your current NANO Antivirus settings will not be preserved (regardless of whether version 0.15 was installed from scratch or as a result of updating from a previous version), and rolling back to the previous version will not be possible.

We will be grateful to all users who install version 0.15 and send us feedback on its operation. A dedicated thread has been created on our forum for feedback.
