We are glad to present to the most inquisitive users the result of the hard work of our team during last months. It is the technical preview of the long-awaited 0.16 version of NANO AntiVirus. We are announcing this preview as the 0.15 version.

The new version is a considerably revised and supplemented product. Particularly the core of program was changed almost completely, the new functionality was added and the current features were optimized.

New in the 0.15 version

• Added a scanner of web-traffic.
• Considerably changed the update mechanism.
• Changed the procedure of installation and uninstallation.
• Optimised scanning of some types of files (e.g. autorun.inf and archive files).
• Improved the System Guard operation.
• Optimized the ram usage by GUI.
• Optimized and stabilized the product in whole.

The OPSWAT Certification Program is designed to enable partnerships between independent software vendors and leading technology solutions. OPSWAT Certified products are verified interoperable with solutions that employ the OESIS Framework, allowing applications to be easily integrated on millions of endpoints.

During testing process NANO AntiVirus must be correctly installed on all supported operating systems and language combinations reflected in the application’s documentation. Then our product must pass Rogue Application Test. NANO AntiVirus installer and binaries are scanned against lists of known rogue applications by multiple anti-malware engines. The rule is that no any applications with any file reported as “suspicious”, “threat” or other nomenclature indicative of rogue applications will be granted certification. Also was checked is OESIS Framework supports the function calls listed.

So, high quality of our program is approved by authorized independent company, and our users can be sure they are under reliable protection.
