I'm testing Nano at the moment and like it except for CPU use when scanning. When do a scan, CPU exceeds 90%, which slows down my computer and make my CPU run a lot hotter. Could you add the option to use low CPU when scanning? I have no interest in have scans complete quickly, I'm more interested in the scans not slowing down my computer at all.

This is a normal behavior. During the scanning process, NANO Antivirus uses all accessible resources to provide high speed and quality of the scan. Otherwise, the scanning process can take many hours on some computers. You can try to change scanning settings to easier. For example, you can set up "minimum nesting level". With those settings, Antivirus will not scan archives, installers etc deeply. It can make speed faster and decrease the loading of a processor. But the dangerous and potentially dangerous objects inside archives can be not found.

Disabling the scan of archives will not solve the problem. While the scanning time will be reduced, the CPU usage will still be high.

I think it would be good to have the option to do a scan using less resources, so that CPU is minimal, e.g. 25% or so. I do not care how long a scan takes, if it not slowing down my computer.
