Dear Moderators I am using Nano's latest version download from your web site the problem is it slows done a little my pc & use too much virtual memory that Windows gives alerts that virtual memory is to low Ihave checked that by pressing ALT+CRTL+DEL & in process it uses most part of memory plz hlep me how to solev it I doent want to uninstall NANO it's really working fine I am usng 1.8Ghz intel & 256MB of RAM with 80 GB hard drive bye hassaan |

Anyway you can use NANO AntiVirus. If you will enlarge your swap file, these alerts will stop to nag you, but we don't sure your computer will work faster. |

Then why does the information page say the requirements are: System Requirements: 800 MHz processor or higher 256 Mb of RAM or more OS Windows XP SP 2 and higher Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher (IE 8.0 recommended). |

Sorry there is a mistake in my reply. 512 Mb is recommended of course. I have corrected my previous message. |

Do you really need to have IE installed for it to work? |

Zero3K, we don`t need installed IE, but we need some of its modules. You can remove IE by Control Panel and this components will remain. The components are different from different IE versions. And they are better in recommended IE versions. |
